Anyways back to the thread. I used to spend my time hugging my bunker too but realised that there were two reasons for that.

1) Not wanting to do something stupid until I realised Stupid and brilliant are that close... if it comes off it is brilliant else stupid, so now I dont care.

2) Not knowing what is going on and where players were, as a result of coming up from rec ball and 1 ball per second to lot's I thought the opposition would be hanging on me and i would be gogged the second I looked around my bunker.

Experience and learning to read the field will bring him out!

My other haf use to play ball (even tounry) untill she had a really (I mean really) bad mugging. This has totally put her off and I felt the guy did it on purpose since he know she was the last one left.

Anyways since then shes played once and has once again, started fire my marker at training, so as above, give the player some time and they will either learn from there mistakes or watch what everyone else is doing and copy

You need toooooo

Find out what he/she is afraid of.

Then you can cure their fear.

Could be the pain of getting shot, or just lack of confidence.

Talking and finding out is the way to go.

Might I suggest a crash course in Marshalling 60 punters playing centre flag speedball.......

Certainly reduced my fear of being shot !
