Hey it just occured to me, All you back players and overweight mid players.

Why don't we start an on line fat camp, where each week we post our weight and try to improve our general healthiness by helping each other with nice words of encouragement.

i could start the ball rolling now.... i weigh 19 stone and 5 lbs, (sorry i don't know what that is in kilos) in the last two weeks i have lost 4 lbs.

i have posted this in tournements so that all us back players can gain help and words of advice from our skinnier team mates, who really don't show their appretiation

who's in??

But Mak Daddy, have you noticed that on millenium fields the back cans are getting smaller, and we still have to get there.

Bunka monky you should be ashamed of yourself it's that self same reason that i am working so hard to lose weight, my team keep on putting me down about my size, and i was thinking it must happen to all the overweight players out there, so i thought we could all band together to encourage and help each other.

How would you feel about it if you were bigger worked hard to lose weight and couldn't shift it and someone was constantly on your case? thats what we go through, and to top it all we don't get recognised for the way we play just the size of our "man boobs"

I have found that with the new paints out there fat no longer means bounces, paint now breaks on under inflated airball bunkers, so it certainly breaks on me.

Hey Trigger_finger i will check my pockets then maybe i can pay for the paint that i have to shoot to play, as i can't move quick enough to play at the front, thanks for the tip!

Seriously though is there anyone else out there that thinks this might work?

COME ON YOU BACK PLAYERS..............

Listen man, if sum1 was on ma case for the way i was i would knock em out, you are who u are. If ur tryin to lose weight because u want to rather than because ur gettin stick for it then thats great, but u don t need to hang urself because of wot people say to you.
If ur team are really givin u a hard time am sure we could organise for sum of the heavie crew to go round a knock on their doors ;)

No beef man :D

Well good luck my man, I once was a lardy cake: 5ft 6", 13 stone 36" waist, but now I'm smaller than the width of an Extreme Rage with 9 pots on it!!!! (down to 28" waist and about 10 stone)

If your serious about losing weight, don't worry about getting behind those back bunkers think about the chicks man!!!

Field design and the way teams are being formed means that players really need to be multi role (check out Nexus), and play anywhere. Although I look like a front player I tend towards the back, but will move upto the fifty, or run down a tape if needed. Likewise our typical pie eating backs are fast as f*ck. This often helps our team when there's a cowbell or silly small bunker at the back I can go into and hose down the opposition (esp as I get an angle on them).

Don't kill yourself on the weightloss sh*t just learn to move about the field abit more, you might find that this will give you a bit of encouragement in itself, then you gets da ho's.

Anyway good luck, been there done it mate and it sucks, but worth it in the end.
