Fallout 3 or Gears of War 2

I got an Xbox Arcade from my dad for xmas and he said he would also buy me a game. dont know what to get

either

Fallout 3

or

GOW 2

i like both of the genres and liked GOW 1 and Oblivion (Bethesdas other RPG)

would do you think??

Both good game but id go for fallout due to the length.

if it's an arcade
system then you're not on Live! so I'd say go with Fallout, beast of a game.

if you buy fallout thinking its like oblivion youll be dissapointed, as i was, i loved oblivion although fallout is much more limited and smaller scale than oblivion

Yeah, im willing to pay the cost of membership, but not the stupid cost of a wireless adaptor.

is it as good in terms of equipment choice ?? i thought oblivion was pretty limited compared to other RPGs.

I really like GOW2 but have to say I thought original GOW was better. Have not played Fallout yet but it's on my wish list, and just starter COD world at war.

My favourite 2 FPS games of 2008 were COD4 and MOH airborne
