Well I knew it allowed for adjustment of the dwell, but I thought maybe for more efficiency. I dont really have a need for low-velocity shooting. I was mainly after a black bolt guide but seeing as I have a spare one I think it's going to have a visit to the boys at sloth.
It does improve flow as well...but you wont really get any more efficency from a bolt guide on its own...if you just want a black bolt guide, Hybrid do teh Tyler Michaud ones, whihc are well sexy...Andy at Breath does them.

The very front portion is "loose" sort of...you adjust it via an allen key in teh back (smaller than teh one you use to remove the guide)...and it winds the front portion in and out..w.hich I think...creates a partial leak during firing (not when not firing)...which causes teh drop in velocity, but maintains normal efficiency, as you dnt have to fiddle with teh dwell
Can be used by both...comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes...at first, I thought it was another name for a dinner condiment, as i heard someone say they like to use one while "eating out"...
