Who cares?

At the end of the day 'extreme sports' is a marketing term, nothing more, nothing less.

nd I'm with Bill Hicks on this one: Anyone here in advertising or marketing? Kill yourselves.

No, seriously. Do.

;) :D

Anyways, why does paintball need to be included in the eXtreme sports groupings anyways. Football is just football (unless you're american, in which case they change the word to soccer - oops, wrong thread ;) ) and Rugby is just Rugby.

Why can't paintball just be paintball?

Well I seem to remember Tyger once saying that according to the X-Games people Paintball is not an extreme sport because it's a team game
If you're going to quote me, at least do it right.

That's from ESPN the Magazine, a year ago.

And I said paintball has no risk, therefor it's not "xtreme". The likeyhood of self-mutilation is low in paintball. AND paintball has no 'cool move' names.

It's also not a performance sport (as most 'x games' are), it's a team sport, and it's athletes aren't media savvy.

Geez, do I have to tell you people everything that you scream at me you already know? Geez.
