if u mean non proffesional by not playing tournys only rec ball, not really much point, but if u do tournys, then i spose its worth it...altho if i can shoot sum1 with a £300 cocker then why spend £1000 on a gun?
Its your money dude. If you can afford it and you want to spend it then do it. If you are playing tourneys you will see loads of expensive guns. I have several and although sponsored as yet, no one has bought me a gun.

It's a known Paintball fact that if a Marker is expensive, has a fancy Anno job, and LOADS of chrome.. then it shoots further and faster and more accurate than anything else

If I had the money I'd by a 1000+ marker. People say to me that its the person that makes the player this I don't reckon is totally true if you stuck and eblade (God Bless Planet Eclipse) vs a Tippy 98 no matter really who it was apart from really good people like Robbo and Oli Lang or any profesional (**** this ain't workin out) the eblades gonna win or maybe not??? If you stuck a newb vs Oli Lang, Lang would win....... Ahhh **** the saying true I'm just speaking ****
seriously though i'd go for it, nothing is more of a confidence boost than a tricked out marker, although some people might think your compensating for something.............
Yeah but what marker would you buy Al for a 1000+ I'd get an eblade or somethin just below 1000 like the eclipse impy vision
