they do indeed probably call it a trigger stop ;) but it doesnt stop the trigger very well, wayy too much slack needs to be bigger etc ;p

one thing ive noticed actually, is that when i have the safety ON and i pull the trigger as far as it will go, it hisses gas very slightly. Do you reckon if i was to make the sear slightly longer(via putty or some other method) , i could get the marker to fire before the safety kicked in, and use the safety as a trigger stop ?

This can be done. What some people do is file the safety down so that it acts as a trigger stop. Downside is you end up with no safety.
Other method can be found here http://makeashorterlink.com/?N25052966
The one thing that is sure to screw the marker up is to mess with the trigger rod length.

I have a benchy double trigger on a classic mag. The pull is longer than an intelliframe but this also means it's lighter than an intelli.

A quick and easy method to remove some of the slop is to install a washer under the frame to body screw (just in front of the trigger). Psition it so the edge of the washer is below the top front edge of the trigger.

Another complaint with benchmarks is that the trigger rod often moves up and down behind the trigger giving inconsistent travel and pressure. The easy fix for this is to press out the trigger pin, remove the trigger and drill a fairly shallow 3mm hole in the back of the trigger where you want the trigger rod to locate.

The other alternative to improve the trigger pull on a benchy is to buy a Retro/X valve- the reactive trigger means the pull length is pretty much irrelevant.

yea i used my new emag valve on it for the first time yesterday, that was giving it the reactive trigger. The new valve also seemed to push the pin forwards even further meaning i could use the safety as a trigger stop without having to mod it!
i might do what you said and drill a tiny hole in the back of the trigger to stop the pin moving around so much. :)
