the I doesnt really have any good points.. its expensive, discontinued, and jams easily

as for the II, the 6 paddle propellers offer fast speed, it's very similar to the cyclone feed system on the tippman a-5 - it will allow more than 1 ball to feed at a time; the door is more like a bowl shape making it easier to load, it has a lower profile

the bad parts is that it looks strange on a marker but then again looks dont matter too much in the heat of the game :p

I have the evl II and ive used the halo. Personally i find them the same, i cant outshoot em. That and the evl II is about 30-40 bucks cheaper (retail, and on average). The curved profile has on a few occasions deflected shots that im about 99% sure would have broken had i been using a halo.

About the looks, i like the eggy!

I recently bought a tequila matrix, and a few of my friends were teasing me about getting a trix cause they said it was ugly. now, i dont think the tqs trix is ugly, but i gave them a simple comment.

Personally, i would rather walk off the field saying haha i shot your ass. Rather than, yeah you shot me. But i got a nice gun!!!

I really think its a matter of looks when it comes to the eggy. The only comparable loader in my opinion is the halo. and at 30 bucks cheaper and able to deflect paint better. i gotta go with the evl II.

I cut and pasted this from another thread that I posted, we are sponsored by VL but I've tried to be fair.

Halo or eVLution 2
We have chosen eVLution 2 but there are fors and against for both loaders, so I'm afraid the only way you'll really be able to choose is to play with both.

Bad

The Halo and spares are expensive, it is the heavier of the two so is harder on the feed neck, 6 AA's!!, they can double feed angels and will double feed matrix's when you use small paint, top of the loader is at a strange angle which forces you to hold your marker in an un-natural position when potting, it is a bitch to clean and it is harder on the paint, can be tricky to turn on and off with gloves, I've heard (not seen) the halo has trouble seeing black/dark paint.

The eVLution 2 is harder to dis-reassemble, slower than the Halo (17-20 bps), seems less robust, sits right back (can catch your peak) and the on off switch is fragile.

Good

The feed rate of the Halo, the feed rate of the Halo, the feed rate of the Halo. Robust

The eVLution 2 profile means the front target area is none existant, less expensive and cheaper spares, holds more paint, the lid acts as a funnel, soft on fragile paint and two PP3's.

please chuck in any other points I missed or anything you disagree with.
