veering slightly off topic...
Does anybody know where you can get extra inner necks for these?
I've sanded mine down to fit an IR3, but I may need another if I switch markers...
BTW - No, they don't open mid game
BUT - the one problem I have with it is that if you have a full hopper and slide into a bunker, because all the weight is at the back (the neck being right at the front) it sometimes spins around off center from the marker. It's only happened to me a couple of times - but worth noting all the same... If you play at the back, you'll probably never know, but if you are up front it is more likely.
Apart from that - great, especially for limited paint tournaments

Before we get too excited and piss our pants....
The eggo WILL NOT be able to do 22bps with a board change only! The body of the Egg should be modified as in its current state its NOT a true force feed hopper! Unlike the halo the egg doesnt apply continous force on the ball stack and thats the reason it maxes out at 17 or less.
Just dont get your hopes up too soon.

Where did you find that info out mate? Ive been trawling around various forums all day - and every post ive read relates it to be just a new board. It apparantley is said to fix other minor problems aswell.

Yes this is confirmed from BE tech service and a subcontracted VL tech at NPPL Super 7. They were supposed to have the boards there but didn't get them. Retail will be about $25 for the boards to put in your existing Evo II."
It aint gonna happen mate, the reliability of those things sucks big time! (well they like to get paint smegged in them)
From what ive read today they sound superior to the halo's.
Once youve chopped the tube down they sit low as hell, and hold 198 balls - they dont eat batteries and wait for it.........there cheaper, parts are more available, lids dont snap off and once the board comes out they will be the same speed
