does anyone ever use any more than the one insert/back?

They look nice, but everyone I know that has a pipe (or freak for that matter) is constantly changing bore sizes cause the one they are using is too small for the balls and is causing breaks. Or they just use the one back/insert and the rest happily sit in a kit bag for eternity. What a waste of moolah!

Just seems like a pointless expensive gimmick.

I change mine every time I get new paint........... makes a huge difference if you can be bothered to spend the time........ it is a hassle, but it's worth it. But having said that, you have to be using good paint too. No point having .001 tolerance in the barrel if the paint fluctuates by 3mm
