Isnt it a question of how much we the players can support the major tournaments in this country as far as venues are concerned?

For example, if we want tournie ball to take off big time we need big venues and plenty of media/spectator participation - if we all agree we want that, then the teams and their sponsors will need to support the event organiser by paying higher entry fees.

Having spent some time talking to the local press in my area, it has become clear that they are crying out for more exciting sports coverage than the run of the mill football and cricket and that appelas to the younger generation - They have already carried one article with a promise to carry updates on a regular basis.

I think the opportunity to get tournie ball in front of higher audiences is there we just need a co-ordinated effort and the right venues. I thought I would test the water with a friend of mine who works for BRMB radio in the Midlands and in principle they would consider providing one of their outside roadshow events at a major midlands based tourine so the interest is there

Just my thoughts and welcome yours.........................
