Tha whole Pro landscape is changing now - and if X-Ball hits both US and Europe with limited numbers and demands a financial commitment as we suspect it will, then there will only be maybe 10 Pros in tha States and half-a-dozen or so in Europe...
But who in Europe has tha financial backing, apart from RL, Tontons and Nexus?
And who says any of those teams mentioned would go in to X-ball even if it was available to us ?
I am meeting Sergei this Saturday night, so I will let you all know what the Russian Legion are up to; what we (Nexus) do, is contingent on many things, not least of which, what we actually get for our money.
I mean, it seems as tho the teams are funding all this and stand to gain the least if it takes off because any money input is invariably filtered by the powers that be.
The tournament landscape has now changed dramatically with WDP and Chuck’s proposals, I for one, want to see how that unfolds in the coming months before I make any decision.
Coz I know, if that takes off, it matters not that the PSP have X-Ball, it’s still gonna have the ole skool running the show and that ain’t good for the future of paintball, leastwise that’s my opinion.
So many conflicting thoughts and so many points to consider before making any leap in any direction.
Hmmm not sure about anything anymore !!!
