I've owned an shot both the Eclipse brands. Really great markers, very reliable and easy to use with great factory support.
They both shoot very differently. Having used both I now shoot the Etha and much prefer it. Minus point for me is the increased air consumption over the Etek4. Plus point is it's smoother and quieter to use. Both are a doddle to service and maintain. Try to borrow each for a few games and I'm sure you'll pick the right one. I also had a reflex rail for a while, but preferred both the Etek of Etha. The Proto shoots nice but was a real gas hog. I ran out of air several times on walk-ons where I could only fill to 3000psi. It also had a harsher cycling action compared to other spool valves, due to lack of low pressure regulation.
