The 'higher quality parts' that you speak of will have such a tiny effect on the performance of the marker that its not even worth it.

I would go for the Ego if i were you. it has a bit of better smoothness compeered to the Etek. and if properly maintained, its not so noise as the Etek.
And yeah its about 8 gr. heavier than a Etek
plus if you get a star frame, and maybe a titanium rammer plus the cure bolt.
Then you rock the field.
