every marker nowadays has teething problems, including the ego. They are brought out way to early, but that's our fault. Either marker will perform perfectly so it's your choice.

One thing i thought i'd mention, where would we be if SP had enforced their fraudulent patent, and who was it who challenged them in court, and saved us from Baron Von Gardener and the third reich.

How soon we forget.

Purely because Smart Parts and WDP were the 'big players' at the time.
I cannot be critical of WDP for fighting the the Gardener 'Nazi's. But at the and of the day, someone had to do it.

Smart Parts lost more than just a court case that day.

In terms of ease of maintanence. Surely you more than most should know that the Angel has at least twice the number of compenents that the Ego has and therefore would be harder to tech for the majority of issues.

Ribbon cables = Smart parts;)

I don't see an angel having many more parts than an ego.

I know alot of players that use A1s and nothing ever seems to go right, still have a few big bugs in them

I know father christmas, and he won't use anything other than a sterling pump.

get yourself down to reading this Sunday and I will gladly let you try any of my kit and EGO's. I am also sure there will be others there that will let you try before you decide.
If you can make it look for me with 2hott4u (the old lazy guys sat around drinking coffee in the yellow ECLIPSE gear)
Nige
Ps we can even chat about the old days

We've got several A1's on Samurai and as soon as we'd got them set up by Lips - they were top notch!

Extremely light and the only problem we've had with them is running out of paint!!! ;)

Though to be honest listening to opinions is only worth so much - you really need to try everything out for yourself and see what you're most comfortable with!

If you can get down there pop into Lips and John/Chris are always happy to let you try their demo A1!
