You need to register your device on xbox.com
ten you can arrange a collection for repair.

I did this, never had to use the phone once. it was simplicity itself.

Take the xbox, walk to bin, place in bin, get money out of wallet, go to shop, buy PS3, no more probs.

Yes Halo FTW...I had both consoles

the PS3 just sat there gathering dust

as for your problem, ditto on what Lovetone said. If you register your xbox onto xbox.com, you can request a repair. They will then ask you questions about what the xbox is doing to indicate the problem i.e the RROD. They willthen ask for the serial number of the xbox and tell you whether you are eligible for a free repair. They will then send you a packaging label which you need to attach to the box its being sent in, then contact UPS for collection.

Then you just sit around for 2 weeks while it works it's way out to Germany for a repair and then comes back fully working, not to mention the complementary one month gold suscription they send it back with

Yep ive still got my original Xbox plugged in and set up to play Greg Hastings, so much better than Millennium Paintball, also the original halos and kungfu chaos for those drunken nights in lol
