If you are only interested in your max rate of fire and lowering the dwell then you could remove the insert from the rear fring can. Remember that this will lower your input pressure and you will start to get drop off.

The Un1tec rear can is one upgrade you might want to consider as this has a larger volume than the standard can.

Other things to consider- What is your board capped at? Dont run your Epiphany at its minimum dwell. Put it up until it cycles fully then put it up another 5. Your gun will require a lot more maintenance if your going to run it at 30bps!

Personally i'd install the QEV set the dwell like i said and enjoy shooting well at 15bps:D

I stripped it all down cleaned and lubed it and then tryied what spangley said. To be honest i think its ventin bu it doesnt seem alot of air that comes out? I stripped the qev down and cleaned that also put it all back together and tried to lower the dwell, i get to 15 clicks from bottom and it fails to cycle, at 16 it cyceles no probs so i upped it to 20 shot a fair few shots off and then put ramping on and blasted loads and it seems to shoot fine (wont really know till i check consistancy over a chrono at the site).

Does a dwell of 20 seem ok? thats only 9 clicks more then what people get from there ions with lighter bolts? The main reason for me wantin to lower the dwell is for efficentcy so my bottle will last a few more shots in a big game etc. cheers for al the help lads :D

the 360 q.e.v was not designed to take the dwell down as much as the virtue or other "clippard" style q.e.v's, these were not designed for ions/ephanies, wereas the 360 was, i had mine at about 20 blinks from bottom in my ion (with s.p firebolt) and it was fine
