Just wondered if anyone can help here, i have a smart parts epiphany, i have installed the 360 qev upped the chamber insert to middle and put various other ups on it, however the dwell can only goto 25 clicks from bottom (any lower and it wont cycle i could probs squeeze it to 22/23), this seems still quite hight? i was reading with a qev ions are usually about 11ish, have i done something wrong? Or can anyone recommend any other ups that will help reduce the dwell. On my current dwell setting the max possible rof machaically can only reach 21bps if i was to get the dwell down in theory i could reach max 29bps.

Thanks very much any info would be most appreciated :D

I have looked all the way threw that site mate and other web sites several times, these refer to the ions and not the epiphanys. Has anyone else installed a qev in there epiphnay and what dwell setting did you get down to? Cheers tho it is a great site :D

give everything inside a good clean, sounds but if an obstruction partially blocked the air escaping in front of the bolt it would slow everything right down.

what bolt are you using? the stock firebolt?

infact post up the exact spec, including you current settings with operating pressure

yeh its the stock firebolt, settings 25 (flashes) dwell rof 24 (flashes) (gives 17bps according to manual max possible for stock board up it to 44 to cap at 15ish), blue (middle thickness) insert, opperating pressure about 260ish (to give me 280fps), and a epiphany rated (red oring) 360 qev, all fully cleaned and lubed after every use and fresh new quality duracell batterys, the other ups wouldnt effect the dwell eg locking feedneck, killa detents etc

just semi disassemble it, take the top tube away from the frame but leave all the hoses conected and fire it a few times* if air comes out of the front of the qev then it is working if it doesn't then it is clogged

*if you lower the pressure first it will kick about less, and you will be less likely to damage anything
