Yes Wayne, the reason the fans booed you is because you all get paid £100k a week yet can't beat a bunch of camel herders.

After watching the earlier matches today, England didn't seem to have any energy - they didn't seem bothered about closing down the opposition quickly, passes were sloppy and half the team looked unfit. Fat Frank looked like he needed a sit down and a cuppa. Really disappointing.

Oh my Thib, I think with all our problems, I'd rather be sitting England's side of the fence than our French friends across the channel ....

Ouch !

:)

Don't worry, we might be able to see some England - France friendly game while they are in South Africa ;)

The good point is france will have a better coach for the next one ;)

They all looked like startled Rabbits in car headlights.

Non of them were willing to risk anything as they now know if you make a mistake your world cup is over, all they did was look to get rid of the ball to the next nearest player even if it was an Algerian as quickly as possible.

How Wright-Phillips gets a game I will never know and the refs may not like Crouch's jumping style but at least he knows where the back of the net is in an England shirt.

it was a close prediction.
Anyway ...... After the game, I have never so fackin embarrassed and angry at a bunch of prima donnas who I genuinely felt would at least turn in a performance that had some bearing on the fact they get paid millions a year to put in performances up and down our country every week.

It says something when David James who basically had naff all to do is then deemed our best player ..... that sounds like a joke but unfortunately it wasn't, it was the stark truth that enveloped that game last night.

Out of all the furour that will no doubt follow, I feel sorry for the fans who spent all that money going out there only to witness the worst performance I have ever seen from an England squad.
Our fans deserved a performance that played host to effort, enthusiasm and at least a modicum of skill ... none of those were present last night.

Nobody apart from the most fervent Scotsman would have predicted that result and yet our players deemed it appropriate they serve it up for us all to see ....
After the first game, I owe Sid from the Clan 5 quid [He's a Jock by the way :) ] and now I have have had to block my mobile from all calls from Scotland ......

I have zero doubt Capello will get blamed in part for what happened but the truth of the matter is, tactics, formation whatever has nothing to do with pro players being unable to pass the frikkin ball and tracking back, that's down to technique and effort ... and those two attributes shouldn't have to be asked for... they feature as soon as you put that England shirt on.

And ses paintball, what is your point mate?
It is obvious I was way of the mark and so what were you trying to do?

As soon as Capello did that one-for-one with Wright -Phillips for Lennon, I realised Capello had lost the plot because to do a one for one is basically saying he was happy with the way things were and didn't need to change .... the game cried out for Cole to be sent on to add some flair, running and creation or maybe even Carrick; Stevie Wonder would have frikkin known it needed to be changed...... but I am having a hard time reconciling the Capello who got us to qualify with the Capello we see now .......
Any ideas?
