I dont think tourney ball is dying on its ass up here i just think its too many tourneys all going off at the same time looking at the calendar for events you could pretty much play every weekend thats including domestic and internationals. I think when Bully started out he had a big chunk of the market but now everyone wants a piece of it and unfortunately it is Bully who has suffered. Bully has done alot for UK paintball and i hope that we shall still see him in some form or another.
Thanks for your hard work Steve from all the guys who play for DV8 and hope to see you around soon!!

Im like Polyfilla I fill cracks
Ups and downs

this kind of thing seems to go in cycles
I think players generally only remember bad events and it onlt takes a little snow one year...cars stuck in mud another(not doug setters who arrived by hellcopter)....and mini hurricanes to spoil a persons view of events.
The leagues used to be great then they were rubbish
The no battlepack and tripple crown evolved into the series
the 4 season evolved into the uk masters..
I think what might be lacking is the small site owner running local events which would grow into something fresh like days of old
(kooh doow and the forest Nationals)
(the event run by ray cain at dragons lair)
(pondwood farm...holmbush...Nottingham skirmish...Paintball park)
But of course theres too much Whinging , Pollitics and not enough money in running tournements IS THERE???

one last pennys worth i bellieve there are more than enough player to have events on every weekend and Paintball is cheaper NOW than ever.....But do we have enough top quality marshals for these events as i bellieve thats what stops teams entering.
There used to be teams who marshaled more than they played and im sorry if this list is northern biased
SAD...The Chameleons...all the ex man lions (in whatever named team they were this year)... Upset... TheMagpies.... .Tigers... .Mohicans

My point is more experienced Marshals mean better events and they can be run more often which equals
Happy Players
Wealthy organisers(Almost)
More gear sold by manufacturers
and this make the sport grow as it should

Thats it im gonna finnish my cold cup of tea now

Well said Robbo,

I played the last event just before xmas, it was cold it was wet and it was windy. Just how I remember it every other time and I would never change it, I’ve had some of the best times playing there for SAD, Full On and other teams.

Is Bully pulling out of tournaments totally or are we going to see a re-birth of a new tournament, it would be a shame to see him despair from the tournament scene total. Next year will be my 20th year in paintball and I can’t remember a time with out Bully (but then again I can’t remember that far back, old age starting to take affect of my memory) im babbering again!!

All I can say it good luck to Bully and to Jon at Elsham and all the best
