End Of Simply The Best

This is the offical announcement that the Simply the Best event in 2006 is cancelled.

After much discusson with Steve it has been decided that it is best that the event does not go ahead. It has also been decided that Elsham is to close as a tournament venue from now on. There will continue to be two training fields for the teams associated with Elsham, JCS and Atmosphere, to play on. It is with regret that the decision has been taken, but due to the changing team requirements, micro weather system around Elsham/ and the lack of support for series 2006, JCS will concentrate on corporate business and pull out of running any further events. This does not effect any X ball sponsorship already in place.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say a special thanks to Steve. We have run many events over the last 15 years and it is a shame that due to a range of reasons, he has pulled out of the tournament circuit.

I would like to thank all the companies, teams and sponsors that have been with us throughout the years and wish you the best for the future.

Mighty fine question

A Manchester-area tournament is well overdue. I know we have the excellent Welsh Open in Wrexham - but that's about as near as it gets.

Maybe my dream of a 'family fun day centred around paintball' is getting nearer.
