Empire or Alias?

Nah...sorry dude...an additional £160...it all comes down to how the retailer describes it on the accompanying paperwork...my team mate Ash (who also got one but from Saks Paintball in the US) only paid £50.00

Having got the gun and used it...the price becomes immaterial...it rips...

On the other hand, maybe they will.....

It's the chance you have to take, I suppose.
Yep I won't, but then I'm small enough that I can do that! Plus there a bit of a differance relationship wise between Alpha Paintball and AKA and national paintball and national paintball europe.

And when I say I won't honour the warranty what I mean is I won't pay for shipping back to the US if there are any problems on a new marker which I would if it was one I bought in and sold....

Burb, you'll love the Alias. It's just a beautiful gun that shoots hellishly fast --- much better than any Impulse. The Empire is more expensive (at least it is here in the US) and there isn't any performance difference.

My only gripe with the new Timmies is the grips that come stock with the gun. They are a relatively uncomfortable hard rubber and I would imagine that most people will change them. You'd think for $1,400 Bob Long could throw a half way decent set of grips on the damn gun.

The Empire and Alias are very similar.

Major difference is the bolt on the empire is akin to those on the old style timmies, but the Alias has a new bolt.

Simply put the Alias rips... and so does the empire.

as a warning though, there's been quite a few complaints about the LPR of the alias acting up and spiking. and some quality control issues on the springs, current recomendation is to have a look at the springs and sand down any sharp edges.

Cheers

Keith

Didz - no request for velocity declaration was received.

I'd second the comments made by Pgaglio about the grips...

...on the gun I received they'd split on the left hand side...nevertheless replacements are on there way:D

The problems with the LPR apparently affected the early batches...touch wood....no problems with mine at the moment
:p
