Agree with you on that Dusty. Although I liked the OLED on my Angel, once you've learned the LED colours it's no great problem to adjust the settings on a board without a screen. Can't see the point of stumping up for an aftermarket OLED unless the pose factor is a big deal. 
That said, I do like removing the battery from my guns between tournaments (as sometimes I might not play for a couple of months and a leaky battery would not be fun day out) and the stock board doesn't have nvram so loses its settings after 20 seconds. No biggie, but it would save 5 mins of faffing before each event with a Virtue or similar.
