Is this another scam?

I got an email from Shwoomie, entitled "Joona Laaksonen's invitation". I opened it and it was an invitation for a free text messaging service. Here is the email:

"Hi,

I have created an account for myself and another one for you -- to send free
text (SMS) messages to mobile phones. Can you please click on the link below to
complete your sign-up. Don't worry it is quick. :).

Thanks,
Joona"

Now, i have never talked to Shwoomie on the phone, and wouldnt normally get emails from him, much less ones saying he has set an account up for me.

I clicked the link and entered some details (not that were my actual details aside from my email address). It then asked me for my email password and i can only assume it's because someone wants access to my email account, address book etc....

What do you guys think?

Shwoomie, what did you do to send this to me?

Stay well clear apart from there the fact that there may be hidden viruses that **** up your email system they could also have access to your emails and any info and things like bank account details and the like especially like some site send you a email for your log on details if you have joined something definately not worth the risk.
The emails that you have recieved has these people filled in their details to this site if so then there is a virus that will go through their email address book and send emails out to everyone in that book i would do a virus scan on your pc just to make sure!!!

LJ's post just proved what i said then stay well clear and delete before opening it.
