Electro cockers

WGP is working on a electronic version(although I'm not sure Bud is too happy about that) That was the reason the STO Black Magic came out-to show that the swing trigger would work and to give them a nice platform to work with. Check out Warpig.com and he gets interviewed at Mardi-Gras this year and says that they are working on a couple of different versions of their electronics. Sandridge Customer support has always gotten back to me ASAP, so I haven't had issues with that. If my STO wasn't the greatest already, I might have sent it in to get upgraded(I still may this off-season) and I know Centerflag was supposed to come out with their electronic grip frame for the cocker, but I don't know how that works, as they also have to deal with the 3 way rod? If you can stand the wait, the WGP electo-cocker I am sure will be worth the wait, if not-check with sandridge.

There is a DIP-switch (jumper, whatever you call it) on the board.
Two modes are Speed and Time (if I remember right how sandridge called them).
Speed is the one you use when you play, Time is the one to use for troubleshoot/timing.
There's small white square LED next to it, it lights up when any of the following conditions are true:

1. E-eye sees something (bolt, ball)
2. Trigger is activated
3. either of D-C80's are activated
(the ram is open/closed)

I actually have never needed it, so I don't know if there are any faults in time -mode. But I think it's good help when timing the F-5.

With regard to bps, shot 19 bps from my Angel at the STB event recently, and never chopped a single one. Got called for chrono twice, not for fps, but the marshalls thought I was full auto.

All the best new markers chuck paint at a stupid rate of fire.

PS No electronic eye involved.

troubleshoot

Well, some do and some don't. Mine being a newer one I guess, does not have that option on the board. It involves changing the jumper over to the troubleshooting plug, which should turn the light yellow. Look it up on the SCOG (sandridge cocker owners group) for a better explanation. Not sure of the address though, sorry.

Big Ian,

Yeah, possible, it's more of a feed issue if you chop paint or not.
I assume that you have HALO, 12v Revo w/intellifeed, warpfeed or some other thing which can feed fast enough.

having an e-eye eliminates the possibility to chop paint if you do fast pop-up, your loader breaks down in middle of game or some other **** like that.

I use 12v revolution and can skip shot's with it coz it just aint fast enough.
