LOL, no kidding, I am planning on staying for at least 5 days. I could get persuaded to stay a few days longer to get a game in. Hey how far is your base from London? Ahhhh hell, I will just email you and ask the questions. I am going to light you up on the field, old man, for that dead bird comment. LOL

A lot of people use Cockers. Strange and Aftershock come to mind immediately, along with the hordes of Am A and B teams that thrive on them. I almost would say don't forget the RT, but that isn't nearly as big a factor in the major tourney scene as it perhaps could be, in fact now that Jax Warriors are shooting Emags I'd say it's almost negligible. Though it doesn't have a huge tourney prescence because of its comparative rarity, I like Sovereigns a lot, a gun which in my opinion should have gotten to be at least equally present as the Cocker, and if given the input into design improvements that the Cocker has over the years it should have been the dominating non-electro of the market.

But on the other hand, I've been without an electro about as long as I can stand. I went from a Mag to a Shocker to a Cocker, and much as I love mine and won't ever get rid of it, I don't want to go much longer not having my own electro around for those days I just crave one, which do happen half or a little less than half the time.

Sorry bud, But Like I said earlier, Jax Warriors are with WGP now, not AGD.

There are quite a few teams that have one or 2 non-electros, but there are very few teams where the majority of markers are "conventional" And as for most Am A and B teams thriving on "conventional" markers. Go to tourneys like the Pan Am series, I swear, 90% angels, 5% other electros, 4% 'cockers, 1% others.

Go check it out some time if you can.

Also, go to SC Village some time if you can, SOOOOOOO many angels, and other electros.

As long as the electronics are working, electros will be infinatly more reliable.

Hmmmm......
I see why some people would use an electro, after all it's a lot easier to shoot fast.
But as far as electroes being more reliable? Don't think so bro.
In order to be able to fire the thing, it's got (more or less) the same parts, plus all the electro gizmoes. And as everybody know. more parts equals more chances of stuff going t*ts up.
Angels are dead easy to maintain, but so are Cockers.
As far as teams using 'conventional' markers (electroes have become so commonplace that I don't think they should be considered unconventional), what about the Lockout boys? They even have their own line of custom Cockers........
I don't think we'll see the end of the Cocker's presence for a long long time.....

PS I'm not pro conventional and anti electro, I shoot an Angel.....

Budda, you're right, I forgot about the butt load of things that could go wrong with an electro. But assuming things aint going wrong with the electronics and solenodes ... they're gonna shoot, and shoot fast ...

Aren't the Free flows that Lockout's using electro cockers?

The one in WPG is an electro ...

I'll tell you what. My Palmer marker are as reliable as clockwork. Some day I may knuckle down and purchase an electro. I realize playing front (which I don't) you want to be damn sure you aren't going to bust a ball by short stroking. My next purchase is going to be a Palmer Classic. I play mid and I get a good extra 10 yards with that marker, I **** you not. Plus the accuracy is unsurpassed. Ohh and the cosmetics will beat any other marker out there :D
