Electrical Tape on fill nipple sold as new!

are you 100% sure it was electrical tape , as i know there are certain coated teflon tapes that have the same look.?

Having just bought a new bottle myself it came with black PTFE on the fill nipple. I bought a pure energy bottle.

one of the main things though was that it had consistancy of electrical tape and no matter how much tightening i did there was still leaky. maybe you guys are right though.
