I've got a set of JT skins. The elbow pads and slide shorts are ok, (The cup has saved me on several occasions. ;) ) But i've found that the knee pads tend to slip down regardless of how tight they are.

Also they are not very durable, i've bust one and plan to replace them with a set of Dye knee pads. My team mate uses these i gave them a try and loved them. Didn't slip and offer more protection.

Best to try them on for sizing before buying any though.

I use dye elbo pads and jt skins for my knees i have a dodgy knee and saves me any disscomfert also id like to thank dye for keeping my ass in the game from some good bouncers, they dont move but after a days play they do dig in a bit. I think they are an essential bit of kit especially for the players who dive and slide all over the field.

I've got a pair of skinz and I love them to bits, make sliding not so much of a chore :D seriously, I enjoy sliding in them and I think without them my knees wouldnt be as intact as they are today...

+ they're spandexy :)

Pads will allow you to pull off crazy arse slides and dives all day without wrecking your arms and legs, i use old school paintball knee and shins from trace- very thick pad, bit restrictive but the new generation pads (skinz and dye etc) are lighter more flexible but still offer loadsa protection.

In addition the odd bounce off em cant hurt? can it? and if everyone else is wearing pads even just for this advantage ( which they ain't) then y shouldn't you?
