Loctite "Loc 'n Seal" is the same as 242, but in consumer packaging. It comes in a small blue and white tube on a card backing, from most DIY shops.

Or try Halfords and ask them to point you at the threadlocker stuff.

halfords do an own brand nut lock and an own brand thread lock

i have used the nut lock in the past and it works fine....the other stuff is the instant concerete type of stuff that you will never move

you can buy loctite at Maplin (high street electrical crap store)

and smaller car stores sell some form of "nutlock" check back of the packet to make sure it says somthing like "removable without tools"
