Elbow fitting

hey,

whats the best way to attach an elbow to keep it air tight. Iv heard of teflon tape and lock tite, was just wondering what in your opinion is the safest way?

get the loctite sealant. think its 242, comes in a red bottle.
its a seal as well as a glue so should solve your problems

Yep loctite 242.

Red bottle but is pale blue in colour.

i assume you meen PTFE tape(i'm a plumber )
ptfe tape is bad for electronic guns as you get bits flaking off when you tighten,this plays chaos with your solonoids
use locktite if need be

Right iv searched high and low for loc tite 242 and no one seems to know what it is. Anyone know the names of shops or what type of shops that would sell it? iv tried homebase and DIY stores in my area with no luck.
