okay, . Firstly what is the dark ego, and where can i find it.

Secondly although the star frame would appear to do quite alot is it really worth it for £80??

Does the dart bolt really make any diffrence? im thinking of getting one too (anyone got a second hand one?)

1 - its a custom ego by warped sportz search google. you need to order from the USA and it will cost you around £1200 with tax shipping etc. its about as custom as an ego gets right now and very cool, very exclusive.

2 - depends on how you value money. in terms of resale of an 05 there is probably more desire for one with a star frame over a stock frame. if you think the added features will help your game then its probably worth it - there is no cheaper alternative anyways. if you just want it to be "cool" then spend your £80 on something more worthwhile such as a faster loader.

3 - ive used all the ego bolts made by planet and personally have found the nexus to break the least paint. in my experience the DART bolt was causing more issues than it solved with regards to cold weather and brittle paint. the stock bolts are pretty nifty so perhaps save cash and upgrade other parts of your gear first.

the new tear drop stock bolt is quite cool its a mix between the DART and nexus, ive never chopped with mine and consistency seems fine

the only thing i have changed is the FRM, why, cos it looks cool and is realativly cheap but the leverage it provides means its easier to bring up off the blocks or from beind a barricade whilst switching hands

the "teardrops" are to reduce wear on the detents, nothing more.
Nexus bolt is very similar to a stock bolt but shorter. I took the heavy pin out of the nexus and replaced it with the stock pin.
Soon to be getting a delrin bolt pin which should mean even more efficiency and less weight.

Best upgrade for an ego is to sell it and upgrade to a dm6:p

Thats just for Lovetone and Rentonc before everyone turns it into a war of words on which is the best marker:cool:

the dm6 looks sweet as a nut no diss there at all

my only worry is this glass self cleaning eye
and the fact if paint gets behind it
it cant be cleaned

time will tell eh
