EGO Star FRM - can't you just drill and tap a hole for a gauge in the original FRM?

I really wouldnt try it to be fair mate. I have a test version with a 10/32 nipple drilled and tapped but I wouldnt even advise that. The threads on the EGO are 1/8th NPT not BSP for the record(correct me if Im wrong) - NPT are taper.

Please don't try it though. Best off having one that looks good. Ask at SlothBall, Planet or Belsales for one. They really are machined very differently.

I'm impressed with your enginuity though!

Note:
I've assumed that you are interested in your LPR pressure, not your Input pressure yeah?

Bspt is British Standard Pipe Taper thread, as opposed to the parallel version.

Npt is the american version of 1/8" taper thread.

But the wall thickness of the frm is probably too thin for the job.

guess steve already answered this but the 'bulge' is there to support the thread of the guarge, really woulnt mess with even trying tap a standard one

Indeed. Except NPT is a different taper angle, 27TPI not 28 and a 60 Degree thread form angle, not 55 like the other weird English ones.

....But still don't try it!

Guage is pretty much pointless anyway? Can't see any benefit to actually having one meself, it makes the profile of your marker wider for one?

Agreed, you dont set it up on a pressure reading anyway so why use one?
