Timmies and EGO's are very similar technically.
Weight: Ego slightly lighter than timmy
Speed: Same
Reliability: Ego possibly marginly more reliable
Accuracy: Same
Tech support: Planet in UK, Timmy techs or send to US.
Looks: Both are fantastic looking depending on model
Price: Second hand they seem to be the same almost but timmies tend to be slightly cheeper. New, timmies are more expensive for basic models.
Timmies tend to be slightly harder on paint although various things can be done to combat this.

ive owned both and ill agree that with most what Rentonc says
Egos are more reliable and feel well built over timmies - but i would say timmies are lighter on paint over egos. speedwise they are very similar whatever ppl say.

i disagree nd timmi are fu@#ing wicked fast as hell nill brakes and light as i've used both and nd's are better

lol, i think to be fair, it's down to personal choice, i was looking at the nd timmy myself, only decided against it because I already know loads about setting up and ego so it was best for me.
shot an alias a while back and liked it
so to be fair also i presume the ND is just an alias with fancy milling in which case its pretty cool
