Dont want to spent more than £100 really heard alot about the rotors

In that case id go for a rotor or z2.
I have a z2 and prefer them but, because rotors are one button operation and are bulletproof then I'd keep my eye out for one of those

How do minis compare in quality to the ego, I haven't heard anything bad about ego's so far.

Can't go wrong with any age ego, other than the size of the 5 or 6, I've never shot a bad one

I have had both the Ego 11 & a 3rd Gen Mini at the same time and I think it comes down to the scenario your using them for and how regularly you plan to use it. I play near enough every weekend and servicing my Ego was begining to get a bit tedious because of how many componants there are and the number of O Rings, as where the mini could be Stripped, Serviced and back together in 10 minutes (with some practice) . As a back up marker for tourneys the speed of fixing the mini was something i needed but if your only playing once or twice a month and not shooting an extreme amount of paint the Ego is much smoother and softer and personally i think the nicer one.
