Ego Leak

Just recieved an ego today 2nd hand and as soon as i put in my HP crossfire tank into the on/off it makes a loud hissing noise from the on/off. Played with my tank last week and nothing was wrong with it...the last user said he used an angel preset lp, so i dont know if that ahs anything to do with it!

help please guys im balling on sunday

is it coming from the elbow? if so you may need to put on some PTFE tape

I think it is, i am not entirely sure i thought the macroline wasnt connected properly but its all good, so it probaly is the elbow unless its my tank... is this tape easy to get hands on?

should be, not sure where to get it from really, try B&Q or some DIY shop. i doubt it be your air tank.

you sld be able to get hold of ptfe tape from any where, B&Q home base, its used in plumbing if im not mistaken.

thats very handy, i got a homebase just top of me road, ill give it a try . Once i get the tape what then?

remove the elbow, and wrap the tape around the threads, you need to put it on in in an anti clock wise direction (i think), this is so that when you tighten the elbow the ptfe goes into the threads and actually does its job.
