Cure bolt - Many flavors of bolt out there, never had an issue with chopping paint myself anyway, so questionable if it was realy a cure for anything :)

Ofset feedneck - Done in various other markers

Reverse threaded barel - Uhh.. I never had an issue with my barrel unscrewing

Zick kit - Custom light rammers been around before zick afaik, Eigenram for example.

Oops - might be able to give them this one :)

Anyways, WoW Raid time! Back later!
The features above all have evidence to back them up as enhancing the ego range, and fyi the Zick is more than just a light rammer. Therefore, these are genuine advancments that improve the performance of the marker.

TBH bon I think you are fighting a losing battle, and you even have admitted that the fabled Mr Long takes his fair share of cues from the available IP in the field of PB, so why not just give it up.

Everyone has their favourite brand - and each one has their pros and cons.
BL has the 4C eye system which personally I think is a great bit of design - noones copied that yet to my knowledge.

Its not a battle really is it, who is the most innovative or who has the newest tech. Each advancement to the technology of markers should be embraced as what it is: cool ,and hopefully enabling paintballers to have a better time playing paintball.

Anything other than this smacks of dick measuring and school yard fanboyism.

He doesnt own that, another company does and he uses the rights to include them in his markers, other manufacturers have the option available to them ;)

to 'copy' and to 'reserve the rights to use' are totally different.

This is amazing i spend quite a bit of time at Planet maybe 8hours a day or so and this guy knows more than me.
On a need to know Basis ;):D:D:D

does it really matter who invented/innovated what, when and where? the only people who should be concerned are the people who make and sell them! as long as we all enjoy the products who cares. This could go on forever with the smallest of gun parts ie the asa, nearly every marker has one or can get one added, removable eye covers, clamping feed necks same again! If companies went all out with brand new state of the art technologies/ innovations would we be able to afford it? £900+ is enough now and I know I can't afford that as it is... In my 5 years of playing I've only had 7 markers all different from my first a diablo mongoose to a PM8 and now an ego they're all different but have the same thing in common... a ball drops in, pull the trigger electronic or mechanical and the ball shoots out! who innovated that?
