Ego 08 will not chrono over 260fps

My ego 08 is not firing over 260fps. thats with the pin all the way out.

I have changed the orings and cleaned the reg. Tried various different batteries. Cant think what else is could be.

Can any one shed any light on this?

no i havent tried that, would i need to screw that in or outwards?

It should be flush with the end of the cap. Usually I'd say change the battery (what batteries are you using?), as this is typically caused by the solenoid not having enough juice to stay open long enough to drive the rammer with sufficient force (or by the dwell being set too low). Have you fiddled with any of the timing settings recently? If you've cleaned and lubed your HPR, LPR and rammer, I would definately be looking at one of these two areas. Failing all of that, you can always try cleaning your QEV block out.

Other potential, but unlikely, causes would be your bottle is nearly empty (I'l give you the benefit of the doubt on that one), the OOPS is depressing your bottle pin too far and is restricting airflow(try backing it out a notch, but I really don't think this is the problem).

right had many people look over it, oil it and so on with no joy, looks like it mite be the solenoid not cool. off to eclipse it goes

i had the same problem it turned out i was blocking the air on the bottle with the opps pin, try turning on the air until you hear the gush of air then do one more full turn see if that helps.
i got chessed of with doing that as its not that acurate so bought the new smart parts sis reg i no problems at all now

its deffo not the bottle. We by passed the opps by my friend puttin his macro line from his geo straight into my reg , and it still wouldnt chrono over 260fps. I have tried 3 types of batteries bought by 3 differnt people from different places and still no joy.

i changed front regs with my mates 08 ego and it still would not chrono over 260fps.

im guessing it must be sumthing more serious.

im gutted as i wanted to use it for the nspl this sunday

hope the techs at planet will sort it out, just hope its not the solenoid as its over £100 for a new one gutted really

does the 08 suffer with the grip screws fouling the solenoid, has this happened.?

I checked that also yesterday, i took the body apart from the grip frame just to check. There seemed to be no signs of damage. it may be the Qev block that someone mentioned but im not to confident to take it apart.
