Ego 08 Distance improvement

i have an ego 8 and i found that the stock barrel was ok but not for all paints as its a .693 a lot of paints are to small hence air loss around the ball.i solved this problem by buying an sl barrel kit 14" and 16" with the .685 .689 .693 backs this made a great improvement,to both distance and accuracy.but i still got to say my dm9 with stock back and extended front is a lot better total barrel length 18" but its like bang on as a few found out at the danger zone over the weekend.they were getting hit from distances they are usually safe at (so much fun) any way as has already been stated change the barrel next time your out if there is someone with a barrel kit im sure they wil let you try it.i.e try before you buy

You could make your own bolt with a different shaped air hole/port to spin the ball out of the breach...

Although saying that, I heard of the new 296 inch barrel on the dm10 which gives you so much range your shots go right around the earth and hit you on the back of the head!

I'm fairly confident that what I suggested was accurate. If not, then I need to be re-educated
