are you sure you stacked the shim's in the right order in the reg.

i never took them out but when i looked at them 2nite they are on top () like that but obviously the other way

removed everything re-lubed and put vaseline on the shims.

what do you mean by everything, and how did you put vaseline on the shims with out taking them out?

I had this problem with my 05, took it to a Planet tech booth and they stripped it down and changed all the o-rings, and then it worked fine.

is vaseline ok ? know its fine mixed with some dow33 but on its own ?

allways seems a little sticky to me

Had this problem earlier this season, one of the QEV's was loose / busted.

Strip it right down and check the physical condition of the QEV's ( ie are they loose or broken at the thread ), if a problem I always send my EGO to planet for them to sort issues.
