ego 05 upgrade question?

i used to shoot an angel speed 05. what sort of differnces am i going to exspect from an ego as ive never used one?
are they lighter? faster than a speed? easy to use/clean/maintain?
i was going to go for a nexus cocker but i got told to go for an ego instead as cockers are being phased out, and parts will be hard to get hold of.
is this true?

Probably just as fast but I prefer the triggers on EGOs
ease of use, EGO has better interface i think than the speed angel cos it uses an LCD screen.
maintenance are about even, both very easy to do however the ego doesnt need specialist tools to take apart or adjust things with.
cockers are being phased out, yes that is true. eclipse are no longer making them so support will undoubtable decline in terms of new parts.
WGP are still going strong however.
FWIW i think the EGO would be a good marker for you to invest in.

I know they have a one off gloss black one in stock right now thatd be pretty sweet.
