ego 05 upgrade question?

just after some advise here guys.

whats the best option? get a second hand ego 05,(at a good price? then upgrade it with an 06 triger frame, or just pay the extra and just go for an ego 06?

i would say stick with trigger frame and get a Tadao board you cant go wrong, and the stock grip frame is ok

Easier to program, famously good eye logic, microswitch and make your own ramp mode.

Upgrades wise, 05 look better than 06 IMHO, dart/nexus bolt and pin is a good start and a c-lever feedneck.

-better regulator housing
-better trigger
-better stock board
-better detents
-longer battery life


an 05 2nd hand (£350) plus 06 frame (i think £120) is nearly the £500 for a 2nd hand 06

yeah good point. if im going to spend the xtras on an 05 i might as wel pay abit more and get an 06.

yes i agree
even with an 06 frame the 05 ego albeit ace would have the small reg and old style detents
