egg2 battery covers

anybody know if the desighn of these are going to be changed in the near futre,i'm wanting a new z board egg but feel hard about taping the bloody door shut again after 3 months off use

ps do you think the plastic would hold if i got a L bracket and 4 self tapping screws on me old one to keep it shut

im not a user of an egg but you'r right in saying that the design
of the cover is bad!...
and i would like to see a new one in the near future.

IMO i dont think they will bring another one out till early next year
as they are one of the most popular loaders on the market ATM

im not sure what generally goes wrong with the egg covers...enlighten me cos i find if i squeeze the hopper sides together as much as possible then jus simply push the cover it stays shut.

does this not work on most hoppers or somethng?

The little plastic clips that retain the battery cover when closed always snap off.

mine has snapped the lugs on the side of the shell,otherssnap on the lid's hinge

Had 2 eggs and never had a neck snap, shell crack or battery cover not close??!!

Must just be lucky I guess...

ive got 3 on the way

ive had loads of eggs, still got 2! and never had a neck snap , but have had the bit that the battery cover slides onto snap tape does its job though ghetto too...

mines not snapped....but i tape it shut anyway....anyone fancy looking for batterys mid game....no?....thought not
