You'll never outshoot your Egg with an e-blade set on eye mode, because it will only fire as fast as the hopper is feeding. I slapped an egg on my orracle and there was a noticable drop in cycle rate during strings. As soon as I put my halo back on, everything was back to normal.

Just thought I'd point that out.

Hi Guys,

As I indicated earlier it was not in a tourney so I agree trying to run, make a bunker and shoot 18bps and not get shot out is not the easiest thing to do.

I was trying to highlight and concur with a lot of people out there as I am in the fortunate position to have both hoppers that the big difference between the two.

It's not meant to be who can shoot the fastest as I never shoot that fast on a regular basis. It was gloating with a new toy on a slightly not such a new toy (Timmy)

Thanks for the feedback.

See everyone at the M25 this weekend

Cheers

I do know that silly.
I've played with the eye off as well due to half black shelled paint and still not outshot it, so I don't care. When I need one I'll get a halo but not yet.

I can now understand the argument when people say that the Halo B is defo the better hopper to use if you want to chuck a consistent volume of paint.

At a recent knockabout I was using my new Egg II and was very happy with its performance but just for a laugh I had a go with the Halo I managed to get between 16-18bps out of it compared to the average 9-11 with the Egg II - major trouser filler!!!!!!!!!
What the hell are u talking about 9-11 bps?!?!?!?! ****ing i got 22 out of it!!! Damn ur completly wrong!!!

Theres no way I believe you got 22 bps from an Egg II, even VL say "up to 20 ball per second" and I seriously doubt that an all....

average mate, cos the max speed that balls actually fall to the ground is 12bps, and the egg is gravity hopper, not force fed
The egg is not classed as a gravity hopper. The impeller is designed to gather and push the paint towards the feed, not agitate, therefore it is force fed.
Check "What Paintball Gear 2003 page 122" it's there in black and white.
