Egg vs Halo B

I can now understand the argument when people say that the Halo B is defo the better hopper to use if you want to chuck a consistent volume of paint.

At a recent knockabout I was using my new Egg II and was very happy with its performance but just for a laugh I had a go with the Halo. I managed to get between 16-18bps out of it compared to the average 9-11 with the Egg II - major trouser filler!!!!!!!!!

Although the Halo B is rted the best loader, are we not forgetting the Evolution? (or is that egg?) anyway... apparently the Evolution loader feeds more then the Halo B and can have adjustable speeds ....

As far as I know no one disputes that the Halo is faster than the Egg II.
Speed terms
Halo B - Evo II - X-board Revvy
The reasons most people bought the Evo II are
Cost - 25% cheaper
Volume - Holds approximately 5% more paint
Anti-double ball - The Halo being a force-feed hopper has been
problematic with anti double ball fangz and similar, more so than the Evo II.
Availability - Recently due to copyright issues the Halo B was hard to find causing a run on Evo II, which are in turn now in short supply as the Halo B is flooding back into stock.
I will be sticking with my Evo II until the day I can outshoot it.

Adjustable speeds yes, faster then the Halo B NO!

One of the guys on my team has both an Egg and a Halo B, and he swears that the Egg is better. i have an Egg (as do all the rest of the team) and quite simply its the nuts! Its less bulky than the Halo, lighter, and IMHO looks better. Who cares if it may not be able to shoot as fast, the difference may only be 3-4 balls anyway. and who can consistently shoot 18+bps anyway?

I care, I tried an eggII but kep outshooting it Not out shot the Halo so it gets to stay on my marker...
