someone sold those 9v battery connectors, search classifieds maybe the thread still exists

and yeah bending the connectors does work, you gotta just do it gradually, not crush them completely so you either a lose connection or b your battery lid flops open.
it does help though and does work...

The egg battery saver replaces the push connectors with snap fit ones.

It just plugs in where the original battery connector goes.


It is something viewloader should have done in the first place. But they decided to save 5p per egg by using a cheaper solutuion.


If the guy who was originally selling these doesnt resurface, I will do them at £5 posted.

Did the battery mod on mine and it worked fine. Never had a problem with the door coming open.

where do you get them little connectors from that attach to the egg board?

this mod looks so easy, i just couldn't find the bits!!!

yeah, could find the battery connectors, but didnt know what the connector was called that is attached to the board.
