Rooster: Well, if it's the looks that matter to you, you should see the Eclipse. (I'll post a pic here soon). But for me accuracy is paramount.......... Although is yours an IR3? hehe.

Burb: I was using my Freak with a variety of inserts on my Cocker with little or no bursts. Maybe blow-forward guns aren't an ideal match with the Freak?

every ball somewhere will have a weaker (slightly thinner) area of shell. If this fall in the right space the acceleration force down the barrel can crack it. As the air or co2 finds the crack it just bursts the ball. You can notice that there isn't as much shell left as a chop, because it still went down the barrel.

I have had my impy 6 months now and have had this problem occasionally. I must admit though, for some reason the freak has good shoot through properties and it has never really bothered me.

Have you got the freak insert in the right way? the freak logo should be towards the back of the barrel!

I have, although I've found that in order to align the insert properly, sometimes I need to put it in reversed.
