i've got a halo, apart from a minor prob with the eyes and sunlight which was sorted easily. i've not had another prob. thing with this is although v slightly wider at it's base than a revo it's essentially the same profile, bit heavier but i've not noticed the difference. looks are far better (70% bling baby:D ) also with it's position on gun means you have good vision unlike an egg which sits totally in the wrong place for me. end of the day playin mid if i need paint this keeps my e-blade fed without any probs, holds enough paint for all field positions and it's tough! compared to twisty egg feed necks and dodgy revo shells

my 2p plop!

Better Things 2 Do!
Well I have a haloB and a eggII both are very good hoppers.

I use whichever hopper depending on which marker I am using, the halo is very good with Cockers because it is a closed bolt system, and can improve your rate of fire with a mechanical trigger (blade) because the balls are forced in.

Where as I us the Egg with the Angel or Timmy simply because it feeds better into the open bolt system (not as much pressure on the stack).

As for which one to go for? - Thats down to personal choice and money the egg is good though and alot cheaper and easier to get hold of! Also had a egg keep up with a timmy which registered 19bps at the end of a game so it is quick enough.

cheers everyone im still undecided.

with the halo i will be able to shoot fast long strings of paint but it could bugger up on me. and its heavy

witht the eggy i can still shoot quite fast but i have out shoot my m8s eggy. although it sits back nicely for coming out of bunkers. but it is quite big so i cant see alot. and then it is also cheaper than the halo.

arggghhhhhhh why cant life be easier i guess the only way to decide is to use them both and see what i like.:)

I have a Halo B TE and I have to say that it is an amazing hopper. I wouldn't mind trying out an evoII, but I can't justify selling the halo when I haven't chopped it in the four cases that I have shot with the halo. If you play front though, I would suggest the evoII, only because of it's weight and I believe that the profile is a bit lower when the neck of the evo is cut. For either back or mid, I think that the Halo is better. If I were you I would just try to borrow each of them for a game or something and see what makes your setup feel more comfortable. Both will offer completely different feels given the center of gravity of the paint in the hopper.

was talking about this the other day, and with an egg, if it does go down for any reason, you can jiggle paint into the breach, so you aren't totally screwed. Whereas with a halo this is pretty much impossible!......so you are screwed.
