my bro uses a black magic w eblade, he switched to a warped delrin bolt and had no issues, i think you should just need to recalibrate your eye.

FCUKING HELL!!!!!!
Well, put the bolt back in..had first proper try with paint...went like ****e off a shovel!!!
I think its coz I was expecting problems..when I switched the gas on..first couple of shots were iffy, didnt want to work...so took the bolt out and put ally on ein..no problems.
But..having switched the gas on and off that day..it did it agin with the ally bolt as well...so, wound the cocking preassure up a touvh..and it went ok.
So...tried with the delrin again this afternoon and was rippin..even with just my revvy.

So..happy now!

By the way.....Torro ball is a very nice paint...the fill on the lower grade isnt fantastic..but the balls are good and fly straight...seem to be a touch bigger than others around .690-.692.
Available from SP apparently...

Next question is....
Underneath the front block is a blanking plug..can I remove this and put a mini guage in there to monitor the cocking preassure?
Can you recommend one..is this a good idea?
Cheers.

messing with a cocker unseceserily? never do it, it just isn't worth it for gauge, you'de most likely just break it (nothing against you, most people couldn't do it, including me!!)

From what I remember (I'm not generally a cocker person) if you put a gauge in that port under your front block it will read your valve pressure, not the cocking pressure (since it's upstream of your LPR rather than downstream.)
