Thanks for all the replies guys! I was mainly concerned with what effect CO2 would have on the solenoid. If I do get one I will of course use an Anti-syphon tube.

Any thoughts on using 2 regs? 1 to give a nice 800psi and the second to bring it to whatever pressure the cocker works at (250-350ish)?

I currently am considering buying either a Eclipse Impluse, Eclipse Cocker or an Eblade. The Eblade currently has the edge cause its the flavour of the month!! (yes I am that shallow!!):) :) :)

Just read the another thread on primary and secondary regs and it would seem that this is the way to go.

Any recommendations on a primary regulator?? (the Eblade cocker comes with a inline reg, so that will do as the secondary)

Gudmann

huh ?
primary and secondary regulators

If I'm not mistaken the pressure of liquid CO2 is 853 psi, so that is the pressure in a CO2 bottle.

And the fixed output HPA regs imitate that by regulating to 800 or 850 psi, since most (all) blowback semis are designed to use unregulated CO2 at 853 psi.

So you should be able to run CO2 directly to the inline regulator on the cocker, right ?

my best

Ideally when running CO2 on electros the best setup would be anti-syphon, Palmer stab and an inline reg. This will provide the most consistant pressure and ensure no liquid gets through.

Right, I have spoken with the very nice people at planet and they tell me that the Eblade cocker will work fine on CO2. (provided you take the usual precautions i.e using an anti-syphon tube in the bottle):) :) :)

Question for steve b - Does anywhere in the UK sell Palmer Stabillisers????

do ya mean me?!

not that i'm aware of . . probably the best place you could get one from would be G3 Paintball .

I've bought loads of stuff from Terry in the past and his service is excellent, all you need is a female Stabilzer. It'd take about 5 days to get from the States.

Hope that helps!
