Spring wise...you want the lightest sprining possible, while still being able to achieve corretc velocity..will need a chrono and springs to do this.

Get a Nexua Ram and a Pair of QEV's on it. Set CDEL to 006.

Set cocking preassure via Tickler, as low as possible while still working properly at high ROF's.

Sweetspot your reg..I'm not familiar with the AIM reg I assume this is vert on the front of the gat.

Set output from tank to 550-600 psi.

Wind therex dialler out, as much as possible while still working.

Reduce preassure on vert reg, but still working.

Shoot over chrono, gradually increasing Vert reg, until velocity peaks...then wind it back slightly, till velocity drops..do this until any increase or decrease in preassure, results in a loss of velocity.

Set final velocity using rex dialler as normal.

Bit of Vaseline or simialr, on the O rings on your Bolt

My appologise for the spelling mistakes..ive been n teh sauce!

just thinking on, this wont kill me gun will it ?
Richie no it wont kill your gun, if its too quick a setup the gun just wont cycle quick enough, and as I say you can always go back to the factory fast setting if it wont work.......

dont mess with the settings, leave it in factory fast and raise the cdel to 6 vas skeet said....if the settings have no affect at all on anything till you turn the eye off....with the eye on you are only limited by you hopper.....if you set things to such a high rof, chances are that if your eye fails and you have to turn it off that you will chop everything unless your hopper is up to feeding that fast consistantly even down to the last ball....unless you are using a q-loader it aint gonna be pritty

Personally I would suggest gas up your gun, changing the settings to say

Son- 003
Cdel- 003
Con-33
Coff- 19
For a ROF of 17.24 BPS

And seeing if it stills cycles and works, if not you can just change it back to factory fast and start again :)
Thats a pile of turd unfourtunately!!

My only recommendation is this..By all means...lower SON to 003, this will reduce battery consumption...By all means reduce CON and COFF for DRY PRACTICE ONLY..generally by the same amount...eg CON 020 COFF 022 etc...however...make sure you return these settings to where they were.
Nexus run their Cockers at a COFF time of 025/026 so, dont run lower than that ro it will go tits up.
My CON time is set at 040...this gives me somewhere around 13/14 BPS backup..if I have to turn the Eye off midgame...and I know my hopper can keep up with this, no problem.

CDEL should be 006 on any cocker fitted with QEV's and Nexus/44 Ram...possibly even a bit more on something like a Turtle, tho Jahlad would know better than me on that front.

As a rough guide CON 020 COFF 020 CDEL 006 will give you a MAX ROF of 21.79 Bps..thats Eye Off remember....bearing in mind that teh Load time of a HALO B is around 20 Milliseconds...so a V35 Halo is the only thing that will feed this reliably.

Have fun....dont blow your solenoid!

If you say its a pile of turd then it must be.........

My setup is a nexus spec factory series only diff is a lightning bolt fed by a y boarded egg, I had the settings mentioned on my baby for the entirety of CC my gun mowed and did not chop once the whole tourney. I thought the whole point of the factory settings was that when you have tinkered with the timing and it has maybe gone a little wrong you can revert back to them

did you use your marker with the eye on or off?

if you had the eye on then the eye overrides most of the settings and speeds the marker up to the speed of the loader.

if you had the eye off then you are damn lucky and have a fast hopper.

yes the settings are there to be adjusted but there is no real need unless you dont have the eye fitted. also you i find that with the eye off eblades chop a LOT less in classic mode
